Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Lasooni Palak:
- 1 bunch palak blanched
- 2 onions finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Garlic paste coarsely grinded
- 1 tbsp besan
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- as required Desi ghee only
- 1/4 tsp Kitchen king masala
- for tadka:
- as required Desi ghee
- few Chopped garlic pods
Instructions to make Lasooni Palak
- Wash palak thoroughly.Add palak to boiling water for hardly 2 mins. Take out and keep it in iced cold water.
- Later divide this into two parts
- Roughly chop one part and make puree of another.Keep aside
- In a pan, add desi ghee when heated add jeera.
- When it splutters, add chopped onions and roast till golden brown.
- Add garlic paste and chillies.
- Roast till raw smell goes away.
- Add besan and roast till nice aroma comes out from mixture.
- Add chopped palak. Mix and simmer for 1 min.
- Add palak puree and masalas, salt mentioned above.
- Mix and add some water and let it simmer for 10 mins.
- Make tadka of mentioned ingredients. Pour it on gravy.
- Let the gravy sit for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice, paratha or roti.
