- 1 tbsp Chopped Pista for garnishing

- 3-4 drops Green Food Colour
Instructions to make Kesar Mehendi
- First take 1 cup chana and 1 cup ghee and roast on a slow flame for 5 minutes.Then crush the vermicelli sev with hand or pound it and then add in the chana flour and roast for 5 minutes.Then add the coco nut powder,the icing sugar, badam, Kaju and Pista powders..Mix all ingredients here for 2-3 minutes. Be careful that it doesn't burn down.
- Then add the milk powder and mix well.Make sure there are no lumps when you mix it.
- Now add the remaining ½ cup of ghee as well as the elaichi powder.
- Roast the saffron a little and dissolve the roasted saffron 2 pinches in 1 tbsp milk.
- Now add this to the mixture and stir it.
- Then add 3-4 drops of food color (green) (it's optional).
- Now mix everything.Now grease with ghee and add the mixture.
- Let it set for 1-2 hours.
- Garnish with chopped Pista.
- Cut into cubical shape and now your Kesar mehndi sweet is ready.
