  2. 2 tomato pureed
  3. 2 tbsp desi ghee
  4. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  5. to taste White and black salt
  6. 1 tsp degi red chilly powder
  7. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  8. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  10. 1/4 tsp gram masala
  11. 2 tbsp sugar
  12. 2 cup water
  13. For Tamater Chaat ::
  14. 2 big chopped tomato
  15. 1/4 cup desi ghee
  16. 3/4 cup boiled chickpea/Garbanzo beans
  17. 1 big boiled potato
  18. 2 chopped green chilly
  19. 2 " crushed ginger
  20. to taste White and black salt
  21. 1 tbsp degi red chilly powder
  22. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  23. 1 tsp Chaat masala
  24. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  25. 1 tsp aamchur powder
  26. 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  27. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  28. 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  29. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  30. 1/2 cup small size namakpare
  31. 1 lemon
  32. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  33. 1/8 tsp asafoetodia
  34. 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions to make Banarsi Tamatar Chaat

  1. How's make sweet and sour Tamater shorba/syrup :: Heat desi ghee in a wok on high flame add cumin seeds when it cracked, add tomato puree and cook for a minute on the recession flame. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Continuously stir till it turns into thick form and starts leave the ghee, sides of the wok. Now mix 2 cup of water, cook it for 2 minutes. Turn off the gas. Pour tamater shorba/syrup in a bwl. Keep aside.
  2. How's make Tamater Chaat :: meshed the potato and chickpeas. Keep aside.
  3. Take a big iron Tava or iron wok. Heat desi ghee in wok on high flame. Add cumin seeds, asafoetodia, ginger & green chilly saute with spatula. Add tomato,salt and sugar mix well stir continuously for a minute. Now add potato and chickpeas mixture saute nicely. Combine all ingredients and 1/4 cup of coriander leaves mix well. Stir continuously on low flame for 5 minutes until turns into thick form and starts leave the ghee, sides of the wok. Turn off the gas.
  4. Tamater Chaat is ready to serve. This tasty Chaat serves in KULHAD/Claypot. How's to serve :: Take a KULHAD, pour a full of tbsp Tava tamater mixture. Then add in lemon juice,coriander leaves & 1 full of Tamater shorba/syrup in it.
  5. Lastly & Finally garnish with small namakpare & little more coriander leaves. Serve hot - hot BANARSI TAMATER CHAAT. Enjoy!!
