Medu wada/ Ulundu Vadai as it called in Andra Pradesh..made from soaked grinded urad dal mixture,deep fry and served with coconut chutney and sambhar along with hot coffee and banana for complete healthy meal.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Medu Wada(Ulundu Vadai):
- 250 gm whole white urad/ dal
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1-2 finely chopped green chillies
- to taste Salt
- Oil for frying
- To serve:
- Coconut chutney
- Sambhar
- Banana
Steps to make Medu Wada(Ulundu Vadai)
- Wash whole white urad/ Dal 3-4 times in water. Soak in enough water for 6 hours or overnight. Discard the soaked water. Grind soaked urad/ dal in wet grinder to smooth paste. Put grinded urad/dal mixture in container.



- Beat this grinded urad mixture with hand continuously for 10 mins to make soft fluffy batter. Keep cover for 1 hour. Add salt, cummin seeds and finely chopped green chillies.

- Heat oil in kadhai. Take a tea strainer on it place lump of prepared urad dal mixture as shown. With wet finger make hole in center. Drop in hot oil. Similarly prepared 2-3 more wada. Deep fry on medium flame till golden brown in colour



- Serve/Relish Delicious Hot Medu Wada with coconut chutney and sambhar along with hot coffee and banana.
