Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Paneer Tikka Roll:

  1. 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese
  2. 1/2 cup Yoghurt whisked
  3. 1 tsp Oil
  4. 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  5. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  6. 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste
  7. 1 tsp Gramflour
  8. to taste Salt
  9. 1 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  10. 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  11. 1 tsp Chaat masala
  12. 1/2 cup shredded onion & cabbage
  13. 2 tsp green chutney
  14. 1 tsp lemon juice
  15. 2 tsp Tomato sauce
  16. For the dough:
  17. 1/2 cup wheat flour
  18. 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  19. to taste Salt
  20. 1/2 tsp oil
  21. As needed Water
  22. As required Oil for roasting roties

Instructions to make Paneer Tikka Roll

  1. Mix together 1/4cup Yoghurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, gram flour, 1/2 tsp chaat masala, dried fenugreek leaves, garam masala powder, and salt in a deep bowl. Then add lemon juice.Add paneer and toss lightly. Set aside to marinate for ten minutes.
  2. For chapatis, combine all purpose flour, wheat flour, oil and salt to taste and knead into soft dough using water. Rest it for minimum 10 mins.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.Add the paneer mixture sauté over high heat for four to five minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook till dry and set aside.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll out each portion into a chapati.Heat a tawa and cook each chapati lightly on both sides adding little oil. Set aside.
  5. Add 1/4 cup Yoghurt in green chutney and mix well.
  6. Time to assemble. Take a chapatti. Spread little green chutney and yoghurt mix over the chapatti. Then place some shredded cabbage and onion. Top with paneer tikka.Sprinkle some chat masala And tomato sauce over it. Roll the chapatti. Wrap half of the roll in butter paper or aluminum foil.
  7. Serve it with chutney or sauce of your choice.
