  1. Wash and dry Okra (भिंडी). Cut the top portions and slice the bhindi into halves.
  2. Slice the onions.
  3. Add oil in a pan. Sauté cumin, coriander and carom seeds for 1 min.
  4. Add Bhindi and fry for 10 min at medium flame.
  5. Add onion and saute for another 5 min.
  6. Add slit green chillies.
  7. Add all the powdered spices and mix.
  8. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 min at low flame. Keep stirring in between in order to avoid sticking at the bottom of the pan.
  9. Bhindi Masala is ready to serve.
