- 2 cups Water
- for tadka dal
- 1 tsp Ghee or oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds

- 1 big size onion finely chopped
- Pinch hing
- 3 green chillies chopped
- 50 gms Tomato chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut dry chopped and grinded

- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Kasuri methi

- 2 tsp Ghee
- pinch Hing
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2-3 Garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 tomato chopped
- 2 Dry red chillies
- 1 bay leaves
- 3 long(cloves)
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Instructions to make Rajma coconut dal tadka
- Soak black rajma,white rajma,kala dal(black lentins(overnight) then rinse the dal. Pressure cooker the soaked dal with turmeric,chopped onion,tomato,salt,ginger,and water. Pressure cooker the dal till 4 whistles till all the rajma is well cooked and become soft and mushy.

- Heat the ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds,bay leaf and let it sizzle,then add red chillies, ginger,Garlic chopped and saute for a min.add onions and saute till it's become light brown. Now add a pinch hing and saute for a min.


- Next add the chopped tomatoes,green chillies, and let it cook for 5 mins.

- Add the grinded coconut paste,dhaniya chopped and mix it properly.

- Now add the water and bring it to a boil. After a min,add all the masala given for tadka red chilli powder,Coriander powder garam masala powder,kasuri methi,Coriander leaves,and salt. Mix it well and cook for a min.Now mix the pressure, cook dal in the tadka masala pan and mix properly. Can add water if required. Cook for sometime and turn off the flame.

- For tempering add 1tsp of ghee,fry 2 red chillies cumin seeds,half tomato chopped,ginger chopped and long(cloves) and fry for a sec and pour the tadka over the the dal mix properly yummy dal rajma curry is ready to served with rice or roti
