- 2 medium sized raw mangoes
- 2-3 Green Chillies
- 3 Bunches Purslane leaves
- Ginger Garlic paste1tbsp
- Curry leaves handful
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- Dry red chillies1tbsp
- 1 tbsp Garlic smashed with skin
- Turmeric Powder1tsp
- 2 tbsp Oil
- to taste Salt

- First wash the dal.
- Soak in water for 15 mins.
- Meanwhile cut and wash purslane leaves.
- Chop raw mangoes, Discard the seed part.
- In a Pressure Cooker,add soaked dal.
- Then add 1/4cup water as veggies will also loose its water.
- Add tomatoes.
- Add turmeric.
- Add Green chillies.
- Add Purslane leaves.
- At last add raw mangoes.
- Don't mix,Just seal off the lid.
- At high flame cook till one whistle comes.
- Then lower the flame and let it cook till 3 more whistles.
- Switch off flames,Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Now after 10 minutes, take out lid n mash it masher or blend with blender.
- Add salt,some water for flowing consistency.
- Add curry leaves and cook till boil comes.
- For tempering
- Take a pan,add oil,heat it.Then add garlic, cumin,red chillies. Fry till golden and pour it over dal.
