Instructions to make Khaman dhokla
- Sieve the gram flour in a mixing bowl. Add semolina and sugar. Add water and mix well.
- Add lemon juice, salt, turmeric powder, ginger paste, green chilli paste and mix well. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes add oil and mix. Add fruit salt mixed with some water. Stir well.
- Take a cake tin and grease with some oil. Pour the batter into the tin.
- Take water in steamer and heat, place the tin into the steamer and cover the lid.
- Steam it for 20 minutes on medium flame.
- Open the lid and check with the help of a knife. Turn of the flame and keep aside.
- Heat a tadka pan, add mustard, green chillies, curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
- Add salt and water. Add some water. Turn of the flame.
- Take out the dhokha from the tin with the help of a knife.
- Cut it into pieces.
