Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Pav bhaji:
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 tsp each ginger, garlic paste
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped cauliflower
- 4 Potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 3 tbsps pav bhaji Masala
- as per taste Salt
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 cubes butter(To toast the pav & for garnishing
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leave
- 8-10 Pav
Steps to make Pav bhaji
- Boil cauliflower, peas, carrots and potatoes.
- Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat. Saute ginger garlic paste & then stir in onions. Cook until onions are brown. Add tomatoes, and cook until mushy. Stir in cauliflower, peas, carrots and potatoes. Mash them properly.
- Season with pav bhaji masala. Cover, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and stir in lemon juice.
- Toast the pav and spread lightly with butter. Serve garnished with chopped onion, coriander leaves & lemon wedges.
