But today due to heav yrains there has been scarcity of fresh leafy green vegetables , thus after hard thinking...this recipe came to mind.

  1. 3 cups cashewnuts powder
  2. 1 cup sugar powder
  3. 1/4 cup water
  4. 1/2 tsp green colour
  5. For stuffing/ filling
  6. 50 gm gulkand
  7. 75 gms almond- pistachio- cashewnuts coarse powder

Instructions to make Kaju Paan Bahar

  1. In nonstick kadhai add sugar powder and water. Mix and cook on slow flame, stirring continuously till 1 string consistency sugar syrup is formed.
  2. Add cashewnuts powder and mix well. Put off the flame. Cool this cashewnuts mixture completely.
  3. Add & mix green colour to cooled mixture. Put this mixture in plastic bag and knead to soft dough.(Note ghee will be released).
  4. In small bowl, mix gulkand and mix dryfruits coarse powder. Make equal 24 portions. Keep aside. Make 12 equal to of prepared dough. Roll each ball into 3" round. Cut into half. Fold each half in such a way..to make cone. Fill each cone with 1 portion of gulkand- dryfruits filling. Seal the open side. Similarly prepared all 24 kaju paan.
  5. Relish / Serve Delicious Kaju Paan Bahar.
  6. Tip... always used whole cashewnuts for making this sweet.
