- First wash off the rice and lentils and mix them and soak for 30 minutes.Now take a pressure cooker add the mixture of rice and lentils add half teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon salt.. Then add water in such quantity which remain just 1 inch above of the mixture.Now wait Upto 2 whistles.
- Keep the pressure cooker aside until the pressure of the cooker will set automatic.Now take a pan heat it and add 1 tablespoon mustard oil. Now add bay leaf, calves, dried red chilli, Panch furon, sliced ginger, slited green chilli saute spices for sometime.. Now add cumin powder, garam masala and 1 tablespoon ghee and saute them for 30 seconds.. Then mix the fried spices with the dry khichdi and Rajvog khichdi is ready to serve.
