- 100 gms dahi
- Chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon Haldi
- 1 teaspoon Methi seeds
- 1 teaspoon each of Dhania,Chilli and garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 2 teaspoon kasoori methi
- 1 teaspoon salt and a little for adding later
- 3 tablespoons ghee
Instructions to make Methi Chicken
- Marinate chicken with dahi, Haldi and 1 teaspoon salt for 1/2 and hour

- Heat ghee toss methi seeds
- As the methi seeds turn black, take them out
- Now put in garlic paste. When it turns brown, add onions and fry. Add some salt.

- Put dhania powder, Chilli powder and mix
- Now put in the marinated chicken and mix well with the masala.
- Cover and cook... Turning the chicken pieces from time to time
- Add milk and cook on low flame.
- When chicken is tender, add garam masala
- Put a cup of water and crush some kasoori methi and sprinkle on the chicken
