Instructions to make Punjabi Aloo wadi

  1. Take little cooking oil in a pressure cooker
    Put 2-3 wadis
    Jst fry a little in that oil and then take out.
  2. Now in the same oil add methi Dana, Hing and whole cumin seeds
  3. Add grated ginger and green chilis
    Now Add turmeric, red chilli,coriander powder and salt
  4. Stir well and
    Add one spoon yogurt and stir again. Add tomatoes chopped or puréed
    Mix all nicely
    Just wait fr two mins
  5. Masala will leave oil then add aloo(cubed)
    Mix so that all masala covers the aloo
    Add those fried wadis
    Add required water
    According to how much gravy you want
  6. Close cooker
    Need only 1-2 whistles on slow
    Garnish with coriander leaves
  7. Eat with zeera rice or steamed rice
