- Keep stirring in a low to medium flame until water gets absorbed to the rice flour.Let it cool for some times.
- Preparation of 1st stuffing: Blend soaked moong daal to a rough paste.
- Steam the moong daal in a cloth for 10-15 minutes.Add sugar,grated ginger and coconut and cardamom powder to it and mix them well.
- For preparing second stuffing: Blend soaked urad daal in a mixture.Allow it to rest for 3-4 hours.
- After four hours mix the paste well. And add chopped green chilies,coriander leaves,cumin seeds and sat to it.Mix them well.Second stuffing is ready.
- Grease your hand with some oil and Knead the rice dough well in a workable texture.
- Moist your hand with some water.Make even size small balls of the dough using oil. With help of the palm make a big hole out of the ball.Take a hand full of first mixture and stuff it and now gather the ends of the hole and close it to make a round shaped ball.Make some dough balls like this.

- While the water is simmering, place the pithas on a greased steamer plate and steam for 6 to7 minutes.
- Once the pithas are cooked they will turn translucent.Serve hot.
