- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 tsp ginger garlic chilli paste sieved
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

- 4 tbsp Oil
- 2 tsp Rai jeera
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 4-5 Curry leaves
- 2 tsp Chopped coriander
Steps to make Khandvi
- In a thick bottom pan mix besan, buttermilk, turmeric, asafoetida, ginger garlic chilli paste salt and make lump free mixer. Turn on gas and cook on medium flame with continuous stirring for about 7-8 mins or until thickens.
- On hygenic and clean platform apply this hot mixture immediately with flat spatula. Try to spread as thin as possible. Do it immediately when hot.. with the help of brush apply little oil on besan spread. Allow it to cool.
- Cut with knife and roll the besan strip so as to make khandvi.
- Now roll all strips. Place in a plate. In a tempering vessel heat oil. Add Rai jeera Hing Curry leaves.. pour over khandvis. Garnish with some coriander. You can also sprinkle some shredded coconut over it.
