  1. First of all we will make maharashtrian special malvani masala. For this, add Kashmiri red chilli powder and garam masala in a bowl and mix well. So the malvani masala will be ready.
  2. Now add the cooked rice in a bowl and add turmeric powder, malvani masala and salt to it and mix the rice with the masala well coated and keep it aside.
  3. Now heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds to it, then add cumin seeds and asafoetida and saute it.
  4. Then add chopped garlic, chopped green chillies and sweet curry leaves to this and saute.
  5. Now add the sliced ​​onion to this and mix it well with the tempering masala and fry it on slow to medium flame until the color of the onion turns pink. Then add some green coriander leaves from 1/2 cup of green coriander leaves and mix well and saute.
  6. Now add masala rice to this and mix well. Now again add salt according to taste and mix well and cover it on slow to medium gas flame and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Now add the remaining green coriander leaves and mix well and switch off the flame.
  7. Now our super spicy Maharashtrian Phodnicha Masala Bhat is ready to serve. Serve this masala rice with masala curd and salad.
