  16. 5-6 whole peppercorns / black pepper

  18. 1 tsp red chili powder
  19. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  20. For garam masala
  21. 3 Green cardamom
  22. 2 cloves
  23. 1 cinnamon stick approx 2 inches

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Once the oil turns hot add bay leaves, followed by onion slices and saute until onions turn slightly golden. Add chicken pieces and saute for 6-7 minutes over medium flame.
    Add the spice paste, whole garlic knob, and turmeric powder. Saute for 14-15 minutes over medium flame.
    Add warm water and salt. Stir to mix. Cover and cook over low flame until chicken is cooked.
