  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 2 tbsp oil
  7. 1/2 tsp soda
  8. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  9. to taste Salt
  10. For tempering
  11. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  12. 1 tsp jeera
  13. 1 tsp til
  14. 1 strings curry leaves
  15. 4-5 green chilli peices
  16. 3-4 tbsp oil

Instructions to make Rava Dhokla

  1. In a bowl add sooji and buttermilk, mix well. Now add water as required to make thick better. keep aside for half an hour.
  2. After half an hour add chilli-ginger-garlic paste, oil, turmeric powder, salt as per taste and mix well. Then add soda and lemon juice and mix well, and pour in a greased dhokla plate and sprinkle chilli powder on it.
  3. Boil water in steamer on the other side and keep the plate of Dhokla in a steamer and steam for 10-15 minutes.
  4. After 10-15 minutes, take out the Dhokla plate and let it cool. Now cut into the square pieces and keep aside.
  5. Now heat oil in the pan or kadhai add mustard seeds, jeera and sesame seeds, when they splatter add curry leaves and chilli, cook for a minute then add dhokla and mix well.
  6. Serve with green chutney and sauce.
